Starting early we get together as a team to go over everything we need to accomplish that day. This includes shopping lists for our custom projects as well as stock replenishments. After comparing notes on the gem cutters we visited last year with the current market prices we have an idea of what to expect. - This way we know when we’re getting a good deal or not!

Once we start shopping we go through each cutter’s cases and cases of stones to find exactly what we’re looking for. We narrow our selection down based on beauty - looking at each stone individually to make sure that there is no light leaking through the facets, no major inclusions, and a good amount of sparkle, of course.

Next, we look at our overall selection and compare stones that are similar in color, cut, & carat weight, comparing prices to choose the one that offers the best value or “bang for your buck” !!

Before purchasing a stone we always loupe it to make sure there are no inclusions that would cause any issues during setting. Once this is done we sometimes have them hold our selection so we can compare with other cutters, ensuring that we can’t get the same stone for an even better price.

Since we have been coming to The Tucson Gem Show for decades we have developed a relationship with each vendor, allowing us to get discounts no other retailer has access to.

We keep our clients in mind the entire time, thinking about what you want to see, & how much you want to spend on any given stone. This is why we are able to always sell the best value merchandise. We never discount our inventory because no matter what, we always get the best price & pass that on to you. No unnecessary markups ever!! ✨
