2024: Spectrum Award Winner
The Underwoods Design Team received an AGTA Spectrum Award and Platinum Honors™ for this engagement ring. Considered one of the country’s most prestigious jewelry design competitions, the AGTA Spectrum Awards recognize excellence in colored gemstone jewelry. Underwoods is the first and only Arkansas jeweler to receive a Spectrum Design Award.
At the center is an exceptional 4.16-carat round sapphire, hand selected by Craig and Troy Underwoods on Troy’s first buying trip after joining the family business full time. Its deep natural saturation makes the uncommon round cut especially striking, allowing for exceptional brilliance without losing the richness of its color.
The sapphire is set in platinum with a square cushion halo, graduated diamonds along the shank, and diamonds in the undergallery. Milgrain, filigree, and hand-pierced details showcase the craftsmanship of the Underwoods Design Team.

There are 6 fully cut diamonds that are channel set on shank that are all ideally cut, have a color grade of 1.0, a clarity grade of 5 and total weight of .54cts.
