From finding the right ring to secretly getting her size, we have helped more proposals come together than we can count. Here is everything you need to know before you ask.
How to Get Her Ring Size
You have the ring picked out. Now you just need one thing: her size. Here are the most reliable ways to find out without giving anything away.
Ask A Friend
Ask A Friend
Reach out to a friend or family member who may know her ring size or can recruit her to "window shop" so she can get sized without knowing why.
Borrow a Ring
Borrow a Ring
Bring in a ring she wears on her right ring finger for the most accurate measurement. We can size it here. Be aware the ring may still need resizing after.
When the Ring Can't Leave Home
When the Ring Can't Leave Home
Try the ring on your own finger and mark where it falls, then come in so we can match the size. Or press the ring into a bar of soap and bring us the impression. Tracing the inside diameter with a pencil also works.
When in Doubt, Size Up
When in Doubt, Size Up
A ring that is too large is easier to resize than one that is too small. Note that thin bands set fully with gems sometimes cannot be resized — confirm before purchasing.
Drop Some Hints
Stop by the showroom and put together a wish list of the styles you love: setting, metal color, and diamond shape. We will size your finger as well. Once your list is ready, we make it easy for your significant other to come in and find exactly what you were hoping for.
If you prefer to be subtle about it, make sure a close friend or family member knows your preferences. We will take good care of them.
